World Renowned Techniques Practiced LocallyMason, Ohio February 21, 2005... Developing clinical skills in the current and emerging techniques of aesthetic dentistry are a priority for Debra McIntosh, D.M.D. and her staff. From February 4-6, 2005, Dr. McIntosh trained at the world renowned Aesthetic Advantage Institute's Atlantic Coast research Facility. This exclusive hands-on training was only open to ten of the most capable dentists from around the world. "I was very excited to be among such a talented and dedicated group of dentists," says McIntosh. The intense 3-day training involved advanced cases using complex cosmetic and restorative procedures. Providing patients with the most progressive treatments and attentive care is a daily mission for Dr. McIntosh and her team. Mary Jane, a long-time patient of Dr. McIntosh had a missing tooth that caused shifting - resulting in spaces between her teeth. In addition, she had one dead tooth in front and a cross-bite. Using advanced technology, Dr. McIntosh was able to show Mary Jane how her smile would look after the procedure. "When I showed Mary Jane how beautiful her smile would be after the operation, she and I both began crying," explained Dr. Debra McIntosh.
