Condition
Suzanne loved to smile. Then after a long-term struggle with an eating
disorder, she experienced acid reflux that caused severe acid erosion to her teeth.
Suzanne was embarrassed to smile and felt it was holding her back in her
relationships and in meeting new people. She also had concerns about her bite, the
crowding of her lower teeth along with some gum problems. So Suzanne avoided smiling
and lacked confidence talking with people.
Suzanne's extreme fear of dentists prevented her from seeking help.
However, the poor health of her teeth created an urgent situation and she could no
longer delay getting treatment. "And then I met Dr McIntosh. She was very
caring and concerned not just with my dental problems but my eating disorder
problems as well."
Procedure
After meeting with Suzanne, Dr. McIntosh recommended full coverage
ceramic crowns to restore her badly worn and broken-down teeth. This solution would
ensure functionality and restore her smile.
The entire process took only 3 appointments over a 4 week time
period.
"Dr McIntosh made sure I was not in any pain at all and made me
feel at ease all the way through the entire process. Her work is perfect and so
natural. She gave me the teeth I should have been born with. Her amazing work and
the support and encouragement she and everyone in her office gave me is something I
will never forget. I am so thankful and feel very lucky to be Dr McIntosh's patient."
