Condition
Linda was on her third set of crowns and the last set was only two years old. She felt she had a 'gummy smile' and she was unhappy with the color of the crowns. "I was not self-confident, and not happy with the way they were looking or fitting."
Linda had a consultation with Dr. McIntosh and she felt welcomed and comfortable by everyone in the office. Dr. McIntosh recommended that her front teeth be extracted and this frightened Linda. Her friends insisted that she should get another opinion. She chose a different dentist who was less expensive and believed it was not necessary to extract her four front teeth. Linda chose that dentist, but later regretted her decision.
Dr. McIntosh's Solution
Linda returned to Dr. McIntosh for help. Dr. McIntosh worked with a team of specialists to reconstruct her smile. "Dr. McIntosh and her staff are honest and very confident in what they can do. They provide caring support and coordinate everything to ensure the best work and experience possible." The treatment process required many steps over the course of several months culminating in porcelain veneers.
Today Linda is no longer in pain. Her gums are not showing when she smiles and she loves the color of her teeth. "It was very difficult to go through all this work, but it was worth it. I'm really fortunate to have found the most caring people to work with. Now I not only have an unbelievable new look, but have made new friends."
